the amount by simply interest of a certain principle is Rs.19840 for two years and Rs.21760 for 3 years . find the principal and rate of simple interest

Si from 2nd year to3rd year=21760-19840=1920

Si will be same over the years and

Sum 2 years ago will be 19840-1920-1920=16000=PRINCIPAL

Rate =(SI/SUM)*100=(1920/16000)*100=12%
