The amount of work done = force X displacement

                                       W = F X S

In this question,

Force            = 1/10 N

displacement = 10 cm = 10/100 m

now we can substitute those 2 data for above equation. then we get,

                  W = (1/10) X (10/100) = 1/100 J = 0.01 J (0.01 Joule)

we know,
\bf{Workdone}=\vec{F}.\vec{S}
e.g., workdone is the dot product of force and displacement vector. here it is clear that workdone along the line of action of force is given by, W=F.Scos0^{\circ}=F.S

here given,
F = 1/10 N = 0.1 N
S = 10cm = 0.1 m

so, Workdone = 0.1 × 0.1 = 0.01 Nm or 0.01J
hence, workdone on that object = 0.01J
