⇒10[sinA+sinB],
where
B=2π(100t−0.02x) and
A=2π(100t+0.02x).
Thus,
⇒10[2sin2A+Bsin2A−B]
⇒20sin(2π100t)sin(2π0.02x).
Comparing the above equation with standard standing wave equation, we get
amplitude =20 and wave vectork=λ2π=2π×0.02⇒λ=50.
Therefore, the loop length = 2λ=25
