between plane mirror and angle of incidence=35

normal=90degree

angle from normal to angle of incidence= 90-35=55°

angle of incidence = angle of reflection=55°

total=110°

hope this helps

Answer:

When the angle between the plane mirror and the incident ray is 35°,

  • Angle of incidence = 55°
  • Angle of reflection = 55°

Explanation:

We know that,

If a ray is incident on a plane mirror,

Angle of incidence, ∠i = Angle of reflection, ∠r

Also we know that,

the angle between the normal and the plane mirror = 90°

Given that the angle between the plane mirror and the incident ray = 35°

Angle of incidence, ∠i = 90° - 35°

= 55°

As ∠i = ∠r,

∠r= 55°

Hence, the angle of reflection = 55°

For clarity of concept please refer the image attached.

The correct answer is Angle of incidence = Angle of reflection= 55°
