Solution :-

Given -Radius of the sector = 28 cm and angle of the sector = 90°

Area of sector = (θ/360)*πr²

⇒ (90/360)*22/7*28*28

⇒ 1/4*22/7*28*28

⇒ 22*28

= 616 cm²

We know angle in a circle is 360 Degree

If there is a sector with 90 degree angle the particular sector is 1/4th of the circle

Let the radius be r

Area of Full Circle  = pi * r * r

Area of the Sector = 1/4 * pi * r * r

For,  r = 28 Cm

 Area of Sector = 1/4 * pi * 28 *28 = 1/4 * 3.14 * 28 *28
                         = 615.44 Cm Sqr
