Let the common ratio be "x"

GIVEN: Angles of the triangle are in the ratio 1:1:2

By angle sum property, we can find the measures of the angles.

I.e, x + x + 2x = 180⁰

---> 2x + 2x = 180⁰

---> 4x = 180⁰

---> x = 180/4

---> x = 45⁰

Since x = 45⁰, we can find all the other angles, I.e, 45⁰, 45⁰ and 2(45) = 90⁰

∴ The angles are 45⁰, 45⁰ and 90⁰

Let the three angles be x , x and 2x as ratio is 1:1:2.

By Angle Sum Property , sum of all interior angles of a triangle is 180°.

→ x + x + 2x = 180

→ 4x = 180

→ x = 180/4

x = 45

Angles are :-

  • x = 45°

  • x = 45°

  • 2x = 2(45) = 90°

Hence , angles are 45° , 45° , 90°.

Sum of these angles should be 180°.

45 + 45 + 90 = 180

180 = 180 ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ(verified)
