in triangle ABC ,
Tan30 = BC/AB
1/ROOT3 = 150/x
by cross multiply
x = 150 × root3
by putting the value of root3 = 1.7
therefore,
x= 150 × 1.7
x = 255m
hence the distance is 255m away from the building ,
