elevation of the top of the tower from the foot of the hill is 30°

. If the tower is 50m high

what is the height of the hill.​

150 m

tan 30 = 50/x (take distance between tower and hill is x)

1/root3 =50/x

x=50 root 3

tan60 = h / x ( h be the height of the hill)

root 3 =h/x

root 3 =h/50root3

root 3 × 50 root3 = h

50×3 = h (root3×root3=3)

h=150 m
