\huge\bold{Question:-}

The angle of elevation of the top of a Tower from a point on the ground , which is 30 metre away from the foot of the tower ,is 30° . find the height of the tower.

\huge\bold{Solution:-}

Given the tower is 30m away from point A.

Given angle of elevation of top of tower is 30.

Let the height of tower be x

tan \: 30 =  \frac{bc}{ab}

 \frac{1}{ \sqrt{3} }  =  \frac{1}{30}

x =  \frac{30}{ \sqrt{3}  } \times  \frac{  \sqrt{3} }{ \sqrt{3} }

x =  \frac{30 \times  \sqrt{3}  }{3}

x =  10\sqrt{3}

Therefore, Height of tower = 10√3 = 10 x 1.732

= 17.32 m
