the angle of elevation of the top of the tower at a point on the level ground is 30 degree. after walking a distance of 100m towards the feet of the tower in the same horizontal line the angle of elevation from the top of the tower to the ground becomes 60 degrees.
Find the height of the tower

Hey there,

height=A*tan61
height=B*tan32
where A and B are the distances from the tower. B-A=600 or B=600+A

subtract equation 2 from 1

height-height=0=Atan61-(600+A)tan32
solve for A
then, solve for height.
And the overall answer is 86.5 m

Hope this helps!

smartcow1: with the triangle
prernadhokaour3w9: One distance is 100 m and the next one is x ??
smartcow1: x is what your solving, which is 86
prernadhokaour3w9: How
