and distance b/w th point on ground and the tower be 'x'

Total height of tower is (h+10)m

=>angle of elevation from ground is 60°

∴Tan 60°=h+10/x

=√3=h+10/x

=x√3=h+10----------------------------------------------(1)

=>angle of elevation from a height of 10m from ground is 30°

∴Tan 30°=h/x

=1/√3=h/x

=x=h√3----------------------------------------------------(2)

substitute 2 in 1

i.e

=h√3(√3)=(h+10)m

=3h=(h+10)m

=2h=10m

h=5m

x=5√3m
