Angle of Prism : A= π/3=60 °

Angle of minimum deviation is =π/6=30°

Refractive index of prism =n=?

Formula : n= sin (A+Dm/2)/ Sin A/2

= sin (60+30/2)/ sin 60/2

=sin 45/ sin 30

= 1/√2/1/2

= 2/√2

=2x√2/√2x√2

=√2= 1.414

Refractive Index n= 1.414
