Since both the adjacent angles form an angle of 140° and the smaller angle is 28° lesser than the larger one

let larger angle = x

let smaller angle = x-28

their sum → x+x-28 = 140

2x=140+28

x = 168/2

  = 84

∴ The larger angle = 84° and smaller angle = 84-28 = 56°
