65° and 25°

Let the greater angle be 'x'°

∴x + (x-40) = 90

∴ 2x - 40 = 90

∴ 2x = 130

∴ x = 65

∴ Greater angle = 65°

∴ Smaller angle = 65 - 40

= 25°
