The sum of the interior angles of a pentagon is 540
Therefore ,
x+x+20+x+40+x+60+x+80=540
5x+200=540
5x=340
x=68
Therefore the smallest angle of the pentagon = x = 68
x is the smallest angle of the pentagon is x because all the other angles are greater than x.

bichchu: Why the sum of interior angles is 540
NikhilMTomy: The sum of the interior angles of any polygon is (n-2)*180 , where n is the number of sides.

THE ANGLES IN THE PENTAGON ARE 540
SO,
X+X+20+X+40+X+60+X+80 = 540
5X+200 = 540
5X = 540 - 200
5X = 340
X = 340 / 5
X = 68

THEREFOR THE SMALLEST ANGLE IN THIS IS X = 68
