We know that

3x + 2x+20 + 5x-40 = 180°

10x - 20 = 180°

10x = 200°

x = 20°

First angle ( 3x ) = 60°

second angle = 2(20°) + 20° = 60°

Third angle = 5(20°)-40° = 100°-40° = 60°

All angles of this triangle are same .

So , it is an equilateral triangle .
