QUESTION :-

The angles of a triangle are in the ratio 2:3:4. Find the angles

SOLUTION :-

The given ratio between the angles of the triangle = 2 : 3 : 4

Sum of the terms of the ratio = 2 + 3 + 4 = 9

Sum of the angles of a triangle = 180°

So,

1st angle = 2/9 × 180° = 40°

2nd angle = 3/9 × 180° = 60°

3rd = 4/9 × 180° = 80°

Hence, the angles of the triangle are 40°, 60° and 80°.

Answer:let the angles be 2x ,3x , and 4x

Step-by-step explanation: sum of the measure of a triangle is 180.

Hence

2x+3x+4x = 180

9x = 180

X = 20

Ist angle = 2x = 2×20=40

2nd angle=3x= 3×20=60

3rd angle=4x=4×20=80
