Answer:

The smallest angle of the triangle is 40°

Step-by-step explanation:

given:

the angles of the triangles are in the ratio  2:4:3

Let the angles of the triangle be  2x , 4x , 3x    ( as per ratio )

we know that ,

sum of angles of a triangle = 180°

2x + 4x + 3x = 180°

9x = 180°

x = 180°/9

x = 20°

now the smallest angle = 2x

                                       = 2 (20°)

                                       = 40°

Thus the smallest angle of the triangle is 40°

Hope it helps !

Let the First , Second and third angle of ∆ be 2x

,4x and 3x respectively

According to the question

2x +4x +3x = 180° ( Angle sum property of triangle)

9x =180°

x=20°

First angle of triangle= 2x= 40°

Second angle of triangle= 4x= 80°

Third angle of triangle=3x= 60°

Therefore, smallest angle of triangle is 40°
