The angular momentum of a particle is varying as L=4t+8 when it moves in st line y=x-4.the force acting on particle would be?

∴τ=\frac{d(4t+8)}{dt}=4 Nm

Also τ=(F)(r) where r is the perpendicular distance from the point (about which angular momentum is given or the point of axis)

Using this, 4=F(r)

r= Perpendicular distance of the given line from the origin

= |\frac{(0)-(0)+4}{\sqrt{1^{2}+1^{2} } } | =2√2

∴F=\frac{4}{2\sqrt{2} }=√2N
