The angular speed of a flywheel changes from 10rad/sec to 20rad/sec in5 seconds when a torque of 20 N.m is applied to it. Calculate the M.I of the flywheel

∝ = (w₂-w₁)/time = (20rad/sec-10rad/sec)/5 s = 10/5 rad/sec² = 2rad/sec²

then,     torque = M.I.×∝                         M.I. = Moment of Inertia,

         ⇒M.I. = torque/∝                              ∝=Angular accleration

         ⇒M.I. = 20/2 kg.m²

         ⇒M.I. = 10 kg.m²
