a) given that area = 2h(l+b)

so by substituting the values in it.........

= 2 (5)(6+4)

=100

b) by substituting the values given.........

= 2(4.5)(7+8)

=135

\huge\boxed{\sf\blue{Part~A}}

Given :-

A)

  • Length = 6m
  • Breadth = 4m
  • Height = 5m

To find :-

  • Area of 4 walls = ?

Solution :-

Formula to find area of 4 walls :-

\large\boxed{\sf\red{2h(l + b)}}

Put the given values :-

⟹ 2h(l + b)

⟹ 2 × 5(6 + 4)

⟹ 10(10)

⟹ 100 \sf{cm^2}

 \large\boxed{\sf\green{area \: of \: 4 \: walls \:  = 100 \:  {cm}^{2} }}

\huge\boxed{\sf\blue{Part~B}}

Given :-

B)

  • Length = 8m
  • Breadth = 7m
  • Height = 4.5m

To find :-

  • Area of 4 walls = ?

Solution :-

Formula to find area of 4 walls :-

\large\boxed{\sf\red{2h(l + b)}}

Put the given values :-

⟹ 2h(l + b)

⟹ 2 × 4.5(8 + 7)

⟹ 9(15)

⟹ 135 \sf{cm^2}

 \large\boxed{\sf\green{area \: of \: 4 \: walls \:  = 135 \:  {cm}^{2} }}
