GIVEN:-

  • Area of Base of Cylinder = 616m²

  • Volume of Cylinder= 12936m³

TO FIND:-

  • Circumference and CSA of cylinder.

FORMULAE USED

  • {\boxed{\rm{Area\:of\:Circle=\pi r^2}}}

  • {\boxed{\rm{Volume\:of\:Cylinder=\pi r^2h}}}

  • {\boxed{\rm{CSA= 2\pi rh}}}

Now,

  • first we will find the radius of cylinder and the height of the in order to find circum. and CSA

----> Area of Base = πr²

----> 616m²= 22/7×r²

----> 616×7=22r²

------> r²=196m

------> r= 14m.

Now,

------> Volume of Cylinder= 12936m³

--------> πr²h=12936m³

-------> 22/7×14×14×h=12936m³

--------> 616h=12936m³

---------> h= 21m.

Hence,

Circumference of cylinder =2πr

Circumference of cylinder=2×22/7×14

Circumference of cylinder= 88m²

Now,

CSA of cylinder= 2πrh

CSA of cylinder=2×22/7×14×21

CSA of cylinder =1848m²
