weight = 80 kgf = 80×9.8 N
two feet..so area becomes
area = 2*80 cm² = 160×10^-4 m²

pressure = (80*9.8)/(160×10^-4) = 9.8*10^4 Pa = 49 kPa

pillaivivek11: The answer is 4.9*10four kg m-²
Anonymous: sorry....two feet...so area=160....you can get that now

Area of  1 foot= 80X 10^{-4}
Area of 2 feet=160X 10^{-4}

Force=80kgf==80X9.8N

[tex]P= \frac{F}{A} [/tex]
P= \frac{80X9.8}{ 160X10^{-4} }
P=4.9X10⁴ Pa
