The area of a parallelogram is 60cm2 and one of its altitudes is 5cm. Find the length of its corresponding side.

Given , Altitude of parallelogram = 5 cm

As we know that ,

Area of Parallelogram=Base×Altitude

But , area is given
60 {cm}^{2}

so,

60 cm^2. =. base ×. 5 cm

 \frac{60}{5} = 12 \: cm \\ \\

So, the length of corresponding side =12 cm
