the area of a parallelogram is 660 sq m .One of its side is 30m long .What is the distance of this side to the opposite side?

disha88: area of parallelogram=1÷2×b×h . so, the area of given parallelgram is 660 sq m base =30 m hight= x therefore, 1÷2×30×x=660sq m , x=660×2÷30;44m =height of paralleogram
krishkishoresinha: answer is 22 m
harsh792: area of parallelogram =base * height. so,the area of given parallelogram =660sq m, base=30 m height =x. therefore 660=30*x. X=660/30 =22m. answer =22m
amashi: area of a parallelogram=base × height

The distance of the this side to the opposite side is the height of parallelogram .

Finding the height

Given, Area = 660

We know that Base * Height = 660

30 * Height = 660

Height = 660/30 = 22m

Hope helped!

Area of parallelogram = base ×height
660 = 30 × h
h = 660÷30 = 22m
