The area of a parallelogram is same that of a rectangle with dimensions 24 cm × 16cm. If the base of the parallelogram is 20cm, find the corresponding height of the parallelogram​

Dimensions of parallelogram: 20 cm × y cm

Area of triangle=area of parallelogram

Area of triangle= 24×16

=384 cm

Area of parallelogram = 20×y

=384 cm

Height of parallelogram= 384÷20

=19.2cm

therefore, the height of parallelogram is 19.2 cm.
