let ABCD is a given parallelogram

AB = c = 30cm

BC =a=20cm

AC =b = 40cm

ABC is an isosceles triangle

s= (a+b+c)/2 =(30+20+40)/2 = 90/2 =45

area of ABC = √s(s-a)(s-b)(s-c)

= √45(45-20)(45-40)(45-30)
=√45*25*5*15

=√9*5*5*5*5*5*3
=3*5*5*√15
=75√15

area of the parallelogram = 2* area of triangleABC
= 2*75√15
=150√15
