Q) The area of a rectangle field whose length is twice it's breadth is 2450.find the perimeter of the field?

A)

Step1:- Let the length and breadth of the field be '2x' and 'x' respectively

Step2:- Area of rectangle = length × Breadth

Hence, Area = 2x × x

2x² = 2450

x² = 2450/2

x² = 1225

x = 35

Step3:- Therefore, length of field = 2x = 70

Breadth of field = x = 35

Step4:- perimeter of the rectangle = 2(l+b)

= 2(70+35) = 2×105

= 210 units

So, The perimeter of the given field is 210 units
