Find the area of the square:

Area = Length x Length

Area = 7 x 7

Area = 49 cm²

Find the area of the rectangle:

The area of the rectangle is 12.25 cm² greater than the area of the square

Area = 49 + 12.25 =  61.25 cm²

Find the length of the rectangle:

Area = Length x Breadth

61.25 = Length x 5

Length = 61.25 ÷ 5 = 12.25 cm

Answer: The Length of the rectangle is 12.25 cm
