the area of a rectangle is 120 meter square and its perimeter is 46 meter.what is the length of its diagonal

Area of rectangle = l×b = 120 m²
Perimeter = 2(l+b) = 46 m
=> l+b = 23 m
Diagonal=\sqrt{l^2+b^2}
=\sqrt{(l+b)^2-2lb} 
=\sqrt{(23)^2-2(120)}
=\sqrt{529-240}
=\sqrt{289}
=17 m    Ans.
