Given , the area of rectangle = 168 cm2

Breadth = 12 cm

We know , L×B= A
= L = A/B
= L = 168/12
= L=14

Now, Perimeter = 2(L+B)
= 2(14 +12)
= 2(26)
= 52 cm

Therefore , Required answer

Length = 14c.m.

Perimeter = 52c.m.

Answer:

Concept:

Area and Perimeter  of a rectangle

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

A = 168 cm square

breadth = 12 cm

Find:

length and perimeter of rectangle

Solution:

The formula for the perimeter of a rectangle is,

P = length + breadth + length + breadth.

Area of the rectangle A=wl

A = Area of a rectangle

w = width

l = length

From the Area formula, we can get L

168 = 12 * X

X = 168 / 12

X = 14 cm

Now, perimeter is

P = 2(l+b)

P = 2(14+12)

P = 2(26)

P = 52

Hence the perimeter is 52 cm
