Given :-

  • The area of a rectangle is 2.76 sq.m.
  • Length of its one side is 1.2 m.

To Find :-

  • What is the length of the other side ?

Solution :-

~Here, we’re given the area of a rectangle is 2.76 sq.m. and the length of its one side is 1.2 m and we need to find length of other side of that triangle. We can easily find the other side ( breadth ) by putting the values in the formula of area of a rectangle.

__________

As we know that,

Area of rectangle = l × b

Where,

  • l is length = 1.2 m
  • b is breadth [ we need to find ]

Finding other side :-

⟶ 2.76 m² = 1.2 m × b

⟶ b = 2.76/1.2

⟶ b = 2.3 m

__________

Hence,

Length of other side of the rectangle is 2.3 m

More formulas :-

  • Area of rectangle = length  × Breadth
  • Perimeter of rectangle = 2( length + breadth )
  • Diagonal of rectangle = √(length² + breadth²)

Question :

  • The area of a rectangle is 2.76 sq.m.and the length of its one side is 1.2 m.What is the length of the other side ?

Let's Start :

Area of rectangle = Length × breadth

So the

  • Length = 1.2 m
  • Breadth we have to find

Calculation

  • 2.76 m² = 1.2 m × b
  • b = 2.76/1.2
  • b = 2.3 m

Other Formulas :

  • Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth

  • Perimeter of rectangle = 2 ( length + breadth )
