Given:- area of a rectangle is 45 15/16 cm² and one of edge is 6 1/4 cm.

To find:- Length of rectangle.

Solution :-

 \sf \: area \: of \: rectangle = 45 \dfrac{15}{16}  \\  \\ \sf  length \times breadth =  \dfrac{735}{16}  \\  \\ \sf length \times 6 \dfrac{1}{4}  =  \frac{735}{16}  \\  \\ \sf length =  \frac{735}{16}  \div  \frac{25}{4}  \\  \\  \sf \: length =  \frac{735}{16}  \times  \frac{4}{25}  \\  \\ \sf  \boxed{ \bf \: length = 7.35cm}

Therefore, length of rectangle is 7.35cm.

Extra information about rectangle:-

• Area of rectangle = length × breadth

• Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)
