Answer:
area = length × width
468 = 26 × x
x = 18
perimeter = 2(length + width)
perimeter = 2×(26+18)
perimeter = 2× 44
so perimeter of ractangle will be 88 meters

Let the breadth be x metre.
L×B= Area of a rectangle
26m× (x m)=468m²
x=468/26=18m
Length and breadth makes 90° with each other .
Then the triangle formed by the diagonal of the rectangle is a right angled triangle.
hypotenuse of the triangle=√(length)²+(breadth)²
=√(26)²+(18)²=√1000=10√10m
perimeter of the triangle= sum of all the sides of the triangle
=26 + 18 +10✓10
=44+31.62 ----------[√1000=31.62]
=75.62 m
Hence, the perimeter of the triangle is 75.62m.
