The area of a rectangle is 468 square meters and one side is 26 meters. Find the perimeter of the triangle

area = length × width

468 = 26 × x

x = 18

perimeter = 2(length + width)

perimeter = 2×(26+18)

perimeter = 2× 44

so perimeter of ractangle will be 88 meters

Let the breadth be x metre.

B= Area of a rectangle

26m× (x m)=468m²

x=468/26=18m

Length and breadth makes 90° with each other .

Then the triangle formed by the diagonal of the rectangle is a right angled triangle.

hypotenuse of the triangle=(length)²+(breadth)²

=(26)²+(18)²=1000=1010m

perimeter of the triangle= sum of all the sides of the triangle

=26 + 18 +1010

=44+31.62 ----------[1000=31.62]

=75.62 m

Hence, the perimeter of the triangle is 75.62m.
