AS WE KNOW THAT AREA OF RECTANGLE = LENGTH × BREADTH
THEN AS BREADTH = 2.8
AND AREA = 49 CM^2
THEN LENGTH = AREA /BREADTH
= 49/2.8
= 490/28
= 17.5cm
hope it helps

area of rectangle = lxb
49 = 2.8 X b
2.8 × b = 49
b = 49/2.8
b = 17.5cm

verification
area = l × b
= 2.8 × 17.5
=49 cm²
