Answer:

area of a rectangle = 6 whole 2/9 = 56/9

length of a rectangle = 3 whole 4/15 = 49/15

area of a rectangle = l×b

then, let the breadth be x

so, it will become 49/15 × x = 56/9

                           =  49/15x =  56/9

                            =  x = 40/21

∴breadth of the rectangle = 40/21

Question-

The area of a rectangle is 6 whole 2/9. If the length of the rectangle is 3 whole 4/15 then find the breadth?

Answer-

Area of rectangle→6 whole 2/9

Length of rectangle→3 whole 4/15

Breadth of rectangle→let x

Formula of Area→ (length×breadth)

49/15 →(56/9 × x)

x →(59/9÷49/15)

x →(40/21) or (1 whole 19/21)
