The area of a rectangle is 960cm2 . If its breadth is 40 cm, find its length and calculate its perimeter.

We know that length of a length of a rectangle = area / breadth .

And perimeter of a rectangle = 2 × (length + breadth ) .

Here the area of rectangle is = 960 cm², breadth of the rectangle is = 40 cm.

Therefore the length of the rectangle is = (960 / 40) cm = 24 cm.

And the perimeter of the rectangle is = {2 × (24 + 40)} cm = (2 × 64) cm = 128 cm (ans)
