Answer:

(2x-5)

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of Rectangle =l×b

2x²-9x+10 =l×(x-2)

2x²-4x-5x+10 =l×(x-2)

2x(x-2)-5(x-2)=l×(x-2)

(2x-5)(x-2)=l×(x-2)

{(2x-5)(x-2)}/(x-2) =l

(2x-5) =length

• Area of rectangle = 2x² - 9x + 10

• Breadth = x - 2

____________ [ GIVEN ]

• We have to find the length of the rectangle.

______________________________

We know that..

Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth

° Let length of rectangle be M.

Put the known values in above formula

=> 2x² - 9x + 10 = M (x - 2)

=> 2x² - 5x - 4x + 10 = M(x - 2)

=> x(2x - 5) -2(2x - 5) = M(x - 2)

=> (x - 2) (2x - 5) = M(x - 2)

Now.. (x - 2) cancel out.

So,

=> 2x - 5 = M

=> M = 2x - 5

Length of rectangle = 2x - 5
