1 hectare= 10000 m^2
0.5 hectare= 5000m^2

Area= l×b
5000=12.5b
5000/12.5=b
400=b

the other side is 400m

1 hactare = 10000m sq
so here the area of the rectangular field = 0.5 hectare = 5000m sq
area of rectangular field = lenth * widht
5000 = 12.5 *w
w = 5000/12.5
w = 400 m
