it means energy is directly proportional to:-

1) mass of a body.



2) square of speed of body.




the theory of relativity is given by Albert Einstein.

The energy produced in a nuclear reaction can be calculated by using the famous equation,

E = delta mc²

First derived by Albert Einstein in 1905.

Where delta m is the difference between the mass of original nucleus and sum of the masses of the individual products, while c is the speed of light (in vaccum).
