The area of a rectangular field is 1400 sq.m. If the length is 70 m, find the breadth and the perimeter of the rectangle.

1400=70*b
b=20 m
p=2*(l+b)
p=2*(70+20)
p=2*90
p=180m

Your answer is:

Area of a rectangular field = l × b
=> 1400 = 70 × b
=> b = 1400 ÷ 70 = 20m

Perimeter of the rectangular field
= 2( l + b )
= 2 × ( 70 + 20 )
= 2 × 90
= 180m
