the area of a rectangular field is 3400 m2 and its length is 68 m. Find the I) its breadth ii) the distance covered by a man in going 5 times around the field

1)it's breadth =area÷length

=3400÷68

=50 m


2)total distance covered by man in one round =2(l+b)
=2(68+50)

=2x118=236

therefore distance covered by a man in 5 round =5x236=1180m
