Perimeter of the given rectangle is 360 meters

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:-

The area of a rectangular field is 4,500 metre square

its length is five times the breadth.

To find:-

It's perimeter

Solution:-

Let the breadth be X meters

Then the Length =five times the breadth

Length =5X meters

Area of a rectangle =Length×Breadth

=>(5X)×(X)=5X^2 sq meters

According to the problem

=>5X^2=4500

=>X^2=4500/5

=>X^2=900

=>X=900

=>X=30 meters

5X=5×30=150 meters

Length = 150 meters

Breadth= 30 meters

Perimeter of the rectangle=2(length+breadth) units

=>P=2(150+30)

=>P=2(180)

=>P=360 meters

Perimeter=360 meters

Answer:-

Perimeter of the given rectangle is 360 meters
