 \large{ \frak{Given}} \begin{cases} \sf{Area \: of \: the \: rectangular \: field = 650 m^{2} } \\  \sf{Width \: of \: the \: field = 25 m } \end{cases}

 \large{ \frak{To \:  Find }} \begin{cases} \sf{lenght \: of \: the \: rectangular \: field } \\  \sf{Perimeter \: of \: the \: rectangular \: field } \end{cases}

Solution :

 \textbf{We know that , }

\text{Area of a rectangular field = length } \times  \text{ width }\\  \\  \longrightarrow \:  650 = \text{length }   \times  \text{25} \\  \\ \longrightarrow \:    \cancel{\dfrac{650}{25} } = \text{ length}\\  \\ \longrightarrow \:    \underline{ \fbox{\textbf{length  = 26 }}}

  • Length of the rectangular field is 26 m .

 \text{Perimeter of a rectangular field  = 2(lenght + width)} \\  \\  \longrightarrow \:  \text{Perimeter = 2(26 + 25)} \\  \\  \longrightarrow \: \text{Perimeter = 2} \times 51 \\  \\  \longrightarrow \:   \underline{ \fbox{\textbf{Perimeter  = 102 }}}

  • Perimeter of the rectangular field is 102 m .

 \textbf{\underline{\green{Given that : \:  \: }}}

  • Area of a rectangular field = 650 sq. m
  • Width of the rectangular field is 25 m

 \textbf{\underline{\green{We have to Find :  \:  \: }}}

  • Length of the rectangular field
  • Perimeter of the rectangular field

 \textbf{\underline{\green{Solution :  \:  \: }}}

From the formula...

\boxed{\sf{Area \: of \: a \: rectangle =  lenght \times width} } \\  \\  \implies \:  \sf{650 = length  \times 25} \\  \\ \implies \:  \sf{length  =  \frac{650}{25} } \\  \\ \implies \:   \blue{\sf{length  = 26  \:m}}

 \textbf{\underline{\green{Now we have : \:  \: }}}

  • Length = 26 m
  • Width = 25 m
  • Area = 650 {m}^{2}

For Perimeter...

 \fbox{ \textsf{Perimeter of a rectangle = 2(length + width)}} \\  \\   \implies \:  \sf{Perimeter = 2(26\:m + 25\:m)} \\  \\ \implies \:  \sf{Perimeter = 2 \times 51\:m} \\  \\ \implies \:  \blue{ \sf{Perimeter = 102\:m}}

Answer :

  • Length of the rectangular field = 26 m .
  • Perimeter of the rectangular field = 102 m .
