the area of a rectangular field is 768 m square and its length is 32 M find the breadth of the field and the cost of fencing it @ rupees 20 per metre

Let me help you with this:

Length * Breadth = Area

32 * Breadth = 768 m²

Breadth = 768/32 = 24 m

Therefore Breadth = 20m

Area to be Fenced = Perimeter of the field

Perimeter = 2 * (l+b)

= 2 * ( 32 + 24 ) m²

= 2 * ( 56 ) m²

= 112 m²

Therefore cost of Fencing = 20 * 112 = Rs 2240 

Therefore cost of fencing = Rs 2240
