Let the breadth be x meters

So, the length be 2x meters

According to Question,

Area of Rectangle = 2,450 m²

⇒ ( 2x × x ) = 2,450

⇒ 2x² = 2,450

⇒ x² = 2,450 / 2

⇒ x² = 1,225

⇒ x = √1,225

⇒ x = 35

Breadth = x = 35 m

Length = 2x = 2(35) = 70 m

Hence, length & breadth of the rectangle are 70 meters and 35 meters respectively.

∴ Perimeter of Rectangle

= 2( length + breadth )

= 2( 70 + 35 ) m

= 2 × 105 m

= 210 m

Hence, the perimeter of the rectangle is 210 meters.
