GIVEN :

Area of a rectangular field = 2450m²

Length is twice the breadth of rectangle

Let the breadth of rectangle be x

Length of rectangle be 2x

We know that,

Area of rectangle = Length × Breadth

According to the problem,

2x × x = 2450

2x² = 2450

x² = 2450/2

x² = 1225

x = √1225

x = 35

Breadth of rectangle = x = 35

Length of rectangle = 2x = 2(35) = 70

We know that,

Perimeter of Rectangle = 2 [l + b]

= 2 [ 35 + 70 ]

= 2 [ 105 ]

= 210cm

Therefore, the perimeter of Rectangular field is 210cm.

Therefore, 70m and 35m are the length and breadth of rectangle respectively.
