The breadth of a rectangle (b) = x ---- (1)

The length of the rectangle (l)=3/2 of breadth of rectangle.

l =3/2 ×b --- (2)

Area of a rectangle = Product of length and breadth

= l×b.

= 3/2 ×b×b. [From (2)]

= 3/2 x^2 [From (1)]
