GIVEN,

AREA = 30 1/3   = 91/3 square inches

LENGTH = 6 1/2   = 13/2  INCHES

WIDTH = AREA / LENGTH

∴ WIDTH = (91*2)/(3*13)

AFTER CALCULATION

14/3 INCHES OR 4 1/3 INCHES ANS.

Area of rectangular picture frame=l×b\\let \: the \: width \: be \: x \: inches \\ area = l \times b \\ 30 \frac{1}{3} = 6 \frac{1}{2} \times x \\ \frac{91}{3} = \frac{13x}{2} \\ x = \frac{91}{3} \times \frac{2}{13} = \frac{14}{3} = 4 \frac{2}{3} \\ the \: width \: of \: the \: frame \: is \: 4 \frac{2}{3} \: inches
