Let it's length be X.
area =400cmsq. breadth =16cm
we know that the area of rectangle =length×breadth
so, l×b=400
X×16=400
X=400÷16
X=25m
so the length is 25m
hope it helped

 \bold{ \fbox{area \: of \:  \: rectangle = length \times breadth}}

We have:-

Breadth of sheet=)16cm

Area of sheet=)400 cm

ACCORDING TO THE FORMULA

Area of Rectangle Sheet=Length x Breadth

 \bold{ \huge{ \cancel{400 = length \times  {\cancel{16}}}}}

 \bold{ \huge{length = 25cm}}

 \bold{ \huge{thanks}}
